Ken Baehr presented Creative Photography, Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at the BP Energy Center.
Ken Baehr is a retired US Air Force combat photographer and motion picture producer and director. He graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in cinematography and spent 25 years traveling the globe, documenting military operations for the President of the United States, the National Command Authorities, The US Air Force, and worldwide news agencies. His work received Gold and Silver Camera awards from the US Industrial Film Academy, a National Press Photographers News Film of the Year award, and numerous citations of excellency from both the US and foreign governments. In recent years he has focused on nature and wildlife photography, especially bears. COVID and some personal health issues created and opportunity to develop new skills and a passion for tabletop photography. His passion for all things photographic has inspired him to refine old skills and develop new ones in the world of digital image making and post processing.
His program shared some of the techniques he has learned over the last three years in the art of tabletop photography. In addition to photography, his passions include writing, making music, and woodworking. More of his work can be viewed on Facebook.
