Jeff Schultz gave a presentation titled Winter Photography speaking in depth about his experiences photographing Alaskan landscapes, wildlife, and adventure in winter. He shared tips on using various filters, long exposure times, composition, and more. He also gave suggestions on how to stay warm while being outside in the cold.
Jeff Schultz has been a full-time professional photographer in Alaska since 1982. He’s most known for his work as the official photographer of the Iditarod, but his work spans much more than that. Jeff has completed many assignments for national editorial and corporate clients. Jeff’s stock images have been published worldwide in magazines, brochures, retail products, websites and more. Jeff founded the local stock photo agency, Alaska Stock Images, in 1991 and sold it in 2012. Jeff continues to photograph Alaskan wildlife and nature as well as run high-end, multi-day photo tours.
