What clouds produce colors that we all seek to capture in our landscape and outdoor images? Can you forecast when they will occur? Yes you can! Michael DeYoung regularly uses cloud forecasts obtainable from the windy app or windy.com
This presentation will be an overview of two things: Identifying clouds and conditions on location that regularly lead to great sunrises and sunsets, and how to better forecast when colorful sunrises and sunset will occur several days out using global model forecast data from windy.com.
